Lockdown Book Haul

What better time to treat yourself than now, eh? And at the rate I’m buying books, it looks like i’m going to have to invest in a bigger bookcase!

Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare – I can always rely on Cassandra Clare to create an incredible and intricate adventure that is filled with an extraordinary cast of characters.

The Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare – I thought I had this book on my bookshelf but I was wrong and I had to have it! Last month I wanted to re-read the Mortal Instruments but I got distracted, so I might have to settle for a re-read of The Dark Artifices.

Crescent City by Sarah J Maas – I will read anything that Sarah J Maas, I could read her shopping list and be entertained! I know that once again we’re going to be introduced to band of loveable and extremely attractive characters and an intense storyline that will be filled with surprises!

Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney – I recently read Rooney’s Normal People and fell utterly in love with her writing and ability to create narratives for complex and raw characters. Conversation with Friends is about two college students and the strange, unexpected connection they forge with a married couple.

Out of Love by Hazel Hayes – This is one of my most anticipated releases of the year and I’m so happy to have received my signed copy in the post earlier this week! I’ve been on this journey with Hazel from the very beginning and I’m so excited to finally dive into this emotionally heartbreaking and wonderfully raw story. Hazel’s Time of the Month series on Youtube and her incredible creativity is what made me fall in love with her and I highly recommend that you check her out on YouTube.
