I was searching the internet to find a really fun and unique book tag and I stumbled across this one! It was thanks to Beatrice @DreamlandBookBlog that I found this book tag and her blog which you should all check out! In this tag, you’re hosting a dinner party. You can invite any character you want, but there are 10 different categories you need to fill, and there are only room for 11 people!
1. One character who can cook/likes to cook
Amy: Lara Jean from All Of The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Just imagine all the baked goods she would make for everyone and the Korean food she would dish up!
Eleanor: The only person I can really think of for this is Molly Weasley from Harry Potter! I feel like her cooking would be really home-like and comforting! (she might be a rubbish cook but I really hope not!)
2. One character who has money to fund the party
Amy: Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Just imagine a huge dinner party in one of his extravagant stately homes, using expensive and elegant silverware, all dressed in beautiful gowns and suits…oh how I wish this was real!
Eleanor: I don’t know why but this is a really hard one! The only person/people I can think of is the Reed family from My Life Next Door, this is probably because I only recently read the book (loved it btw!)
3. One character who might cause a scene
Amy: Celeana Sardothein from Throne of Glass. If someone got on the wrong side of her I could see her starting a fight or kicking up a fuss and it sounds bad but I would love to see her fighting skills in action!
Eleanor: I feel like Mare Barrow from Red Queen would cause a bit of a scene, I don’t know why, I just feel like she would just be grumpy and moan about everything, then others will get really annoyed at her…?
4. One character who is funny/amusing
Amy: Mark Watney from The Martian. I read The Martian a weeks ago and I found it really funny so I would invite him as I could see him making jokes and having a laugh with all the other guests.
Eleanor: I really liked the sense of humour of Finch in All The Bright Places! I feel like he would just try to make everyone really happy even if he wasn’t happy himself.
5. One character who is super social/popular
Amy: Harper Price from Rebel Belle. She is someone who would know how to throw a dinner party and I could see her getting along really well with Celaena as they discuss their fighting skills and clothes. Thinking of all these answers, is making wish that this was real!
Eleanor: Jace Wayland from The Mortal Instruments series, oh man, well maybe he thinks he’s super popular!
6. One villain
Amy: The Darkling from Shadow and Bone. To be honest I would just invite him for his looks, he is a villain I just love to hate.
Eleanor: Oh lets go for Sebastian/Jonathan Morgenstern, because why not? And to be honest he’s the only other villain I can think of at the moment, apart from Voldemort but I think that would be going a bit too far…
7. One couple – doesn’t have to be romantic
Amy: Thorne and Cress from The Luna Chronicles. They are one of my favourite couples as they are both so cute and I could see them getting along with everyone at the table, telling stories about their adventures!
Eleanor: I would invite Emma Carstairs and Julian Blackthorne, just because I feel as though they need a night out just to have a bit of fun! And they’re wicked characters!
8. One hero/heroine
Amy: Hermione from Harry Potter. Hermione is one of my favourite heroines and I think she is someone I could easily have a conversation with. I could see me, Celaena and her all talking about books and learning more about the wizarding world! Oh man, the conversation at this party would be so good!
Eleanor: Haha if we’re having Hermione, we may as well have Harry Potter, these guys are like the ultimate heroes, right?
9. One under-appreciated character
Amy: Johanna Mason from The Hunger Games. I struggled with this one the most and then it sudden came to me! Johanna is one of my favourite characters because she is such a badass and unique character; it was a shame that we didn’t see much of her in the final book.
Eleanor: Chairman Meow, the cat from The Mortal Instruments, I feel as though Church gets a lot of appreciation and Chairman Meow doesn’t! Also he has THE BEST name ever!
10. One character of your own choosing
Amy: Chaol from Throne of Glass!! If you’ve been following this blog for a while you should know about my love for Chaol so how could I not invite him and I would make sure that he had a seat next to me; watch out Celaena!
Eleanor: Let’s have Rhysand from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, I think he is on the list of my most favourite characters of all time so he has to be invited!!
I thought this was such a fun and unique tag, so we tag anyone who wants to do this tag and we look forward to reading your answers!
Its such a fun tag, this dinner party would sure be very interesting!
